Basset Hound Shows

Breeding and grooming dogs for Shows is a big part of our year. We regularly organise Single Breed Shows, usually held at Bradfield Village Hall and Green near Newbury Berkshire. The Shows are open to members and non-members alike and are organised under Kennel Club rules. If you enjoy dogs - come along and enjoy a different day out.

Basset Hound Care

As owners of hounds, canine care is our number one priority. With the help of the Kennel Club, we have established pages detailing the Basset Hound breed standards and tips and guidance on general canine care. Over time, we intend to expand the canine care help and guidance sections of this site, to better serve dog and in particular basset hound owners.

Basset Hound Walks & Fun Days

Dogs love to spend time in the countryside and our Bassets are no different. We try to organise regular club meets incorporating a walk and ending at a pub or cafe - for dog and human r & r!!

Every year we have a fun day and members barbeque lunch, normally with our mid-year show in the morning. Fancy dress for our dogs, games like sausage racing and a friendly atmosphere for our dogs and their families. Why not come along and join in the fun?
