Ferndown Walk

Although the day had started sunny and bright, by the time we all assembled at Ferndown the heavens had opened up and it had become a wet and soggy affair.

There were 25 eager bassets and suitably attired families in attendance. After a group photo the procession set off on what was to be an enjoyable walk.

The group finally arrived back at the Inn for lunch and much needed respite (for the dogs as well).

Location & Details: Ferndown is in Hamphsire. We met at the Forest Inn & Golf Club car park at 11am for a 11.30am start.

The walk lasted about an hour and was followed by bar snacks at the Inn.

Directions
From the East: On the A31 from Ringwood, turn tight onto Ferndown Bypass at the roundabout prior to McDonalds, reaching the next roundabout "Dolmans Crossing", take the third exit and the Forest Inn is signposted.

From the West: Take the Wimbourne bypass to Canford Bottom roundabout. Join the Ferndown bypass to the first roundabout "Dolmans Crossing" and take the first exit. Forest Inn is signposted.
