Another lovely weather day - with some sunshine illuminating the tall trees and casting glorious shadows. The company was great, with Lookout walk "regulars" as well as "first-timers".
Thank you all for making the effort to come along - especially as it was Mothering Sunday - it is always worth the journey when you get a bunch of bassets together!
Charley Farley arrived in his Sunday best and by some miracle stayed immaculate in his lovely coat, with his map of The Lookout tucked neatly in his belt.
New basset chums Fizz and Bella fought off much eager male attention - so much so that the two girls turned for home early.
We walked for about 3 miles, enjoying the scenery and the conversation, before heading home. The more local amongst us headed for the nearest pub!
