Meet at the Forest Centre car park, Bucks Horn Oak at 1.30pm for a 2.00pm start.
Come along and meet other Club members and their bassets for a delightful walk through glorious, ancient countryside.

When attending Club events, fully paid-up members are covered by the Club's Insurance.

Description

This ancient forest is famous for its oak trees which once supplied timber for navy ships. Recently Alice Holt oak has been used to build a replica of Shakespeare's Globe threatre in London. A beautiful forest walk, with lovely view, ample free car parking and great company. What more can you want?

There is a choice of 2 routes - 1.5miles easy routeor a 2.5mile route - to be decided on the day. And there are 2 pubs nearby, should you need some rest & refreshment!
